We want the kids to LOVE Church!
We want it to be the best hour of their week! We want to partner with you to be another voice in your child’s life so your child will know, love, and live their life for Jesus Christ.
We are committed to creating a safe place where the kids play, smile, laugh with friends, and are taught about the Bible and the love of Jesus through relevant age-appropriate kids services. Our goal is to have a blast; build relationships, play, laugh, smile, dance, eat, worship all while connecting to God and others.
What does a Khesed Kids service look like?
Classrooms are broken down by ages and offered at all Khesed services at both campuses. Typical classrooms are Nursery, Toddlers, Pre-K, K-2nd, and 3rd-5th grade.
Safety is a priority in Khesed Kids! All volunteers in our classrooms have completed a background check, and all children must be checked in and out.
- Check-In and Check-Out Procedure: If it is your first time at Khesed, don’t worry! Check-in is easy, and we have someone who will guide you, or you can create a profile for your children ahead of time by clicking the button below.
When you check in at service, you will get nametags for the kids and a parent tag, which must be presented at pickup. If you lose your tag, please let us know as soon as possible so we can verify another way that it’s you.
- In-Service Communication: From time to time, we may need to get hold of you. Maybe a diaper needs to be changed (we do not change diapers), or your child is not feeling well. In the event this happens, we will text you from our system app.
Service Fun & Learning
- Once your child is checked in, the fun begins! We will play, enjoy an age-appropriate Bible lesson, have a snack together, enjoy small groups, sing some worship, and more!
- We have awesome volunteers serving faithfully every week. Our team does everything from coloring to reading books, playing with toys to serving snacks! You will even see teenagers serving! They are incredible and have an amazing ministry in Khesed Kids.
- We partner with Orange curriculum, an amazing resource serving over 10,000 ministries worldwide.
- After the service, you will then come and pick up your child with your matching tag.
- The kids will then pick out a sucker (fun tradition) and yes, you can have one too!

Parent Group
We have a Khesed Kids Parent Group on our Church App dedicated to staying in touch with info on upcoming events, lessons, worship info, and more! It is a great and easy way to stay connected.

FAQ's
The older child is welcome to attend class with the younger sibling or friend. The only exception to this rule is the Nursery. Please get approval from Pastor Keith for an older child to be in the Nursery. This is to help the children who are getting acclimated to class, and not a permanent solution. We will work with you.
We do not change diapers, but will happily text the parents when your child needs it.
We understand, especially the first few times, that kids might have a hard time adjusting. We want this experience to be amazing and stress-free. If you want to come and enjoy class with the child, just contact a leader, and we would be glad to walk through what that looks like. We will work together to make their experience amazing.
If your older child is age 16+ and has your parent tag, then yes, they can. Otherwise, you will need to come pick up your child.
